Juddering on take up is usually down to clutch plate worn, clutch plate contaminated,bearings or clutch lever/master cylinder and very occasionally drive shaft issues (UJ's and half shaft wear) My initial money would be clutch lever as IMHO it's not the smoothest clutch take-up in the world.

My C4 Grand Picasso 2.0HDi saga has now come to end. After 2 1/2 years I sold the car back to my dealer as the only way to end my pain!
